The season of Advent is rapidly approaching. These weeks during the month of December remind us to set aside some of the hectic business of the holiday season and quietly reflect on the promise of the Christ child born in Bethlehem 2000 years ago. Bible readings related to the Advent themes of waiting, preparation, light in the darkness, and the coming of the promised Messiah will be available here as well as in hard copy format at various locations throughout the church starting Sunday, November 25th.

Please use the remaining days prior to the beginning of Advent to prayerfully seek The Holy Spirit’s guidance in helping you make a commitment to participate in this time of study along with other members of the Central Church family. You may pick up your daily readings in the Narthex, breezeway, fellowship hall, or church office.  For more information contact: Sherole Thrash.
